Stepping Stones
A rain soaked newspaper lay on the sidewalk. The headline read: Inauguration Today, Security Tight. The wind picked up the paper and blew it against the wrought iron fence that surrounded the White House. Newly elected President Sonny Harrison was in the bedroom dressing for the ceremony. Being here now was the realization of his life long dream. When he was a child he watched the Presidential Inaugurations on the television. He would imagine himself at the podium, giving a great speech. He, Andrew Jackson Harrison, Jr. was the one everyone was watching; the man being sworn in. In a few minutes that dream would come true
